Deadline:  August 1, 2008
Grant Activity: Teach up to two courses, primarily at the undergraduate level. Some graduate-level instruction may be possible. Conduct research. Assist in curriculum development. Applicant should propose courses and include sample course syllabi.
Specialization(s): Priority fields include, but are not limited to, English language teacher training, information technology, management, American studies or literature, international relations, law and curriculum development.
Additional Qualifications: Associate professor rank or above and at least 5 years teaching experience preferred. Professionals who have teaching experience are eligible.
Location: Affiliation to be determined, but applicant may indicate preference.
Length of Grant: 3 months to 9 months
Starting Date: October 2009 or other date suitable to grantee
Comments: Letters of invitation are not needed. Possible host institutions are University of Colombo, University of Peradeniya, University of Kelaniya, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, University of Moratuwa, University of Ruhuna, The Open University of Sri Lanka, Sabaragamuwa University and Rajarata University of Sri Lanka.
