Grant Activity: Undertake research in area of interest. Researchers will be expected to give at least one presentation a month in their area of expertise and at least one a month that relates to the U.S. Individual programs will be arranged for senior professionals based on their proposals.

Specialization(s): Priority fields include education administration; teacher training; American literature, history, political systems, sociology, law, public policy, religion in the U.S., or any other subject in which the U.S. is the primary focus; English as a second language; all pure and applied sciences and technology; gerontology; public health; HIV/AIDS; agriculture; food technology; veterinary medicine; performing and visual arts; public administration; environmental studies; social work; medicine; business or NGO management and journalism.

Language: Foreign language proficiency as necessary for project.
|
|
Additional Qualifications: Ph.D. or a terminal professional degree and at least 3 years experience preferred. Senior professionals must have at least 7 years experience and accomplishments that demonstrate leadership in their field.

Location: Affiliation to be determined, but applicant may indicate preference.
|
|
Length of Grant: 2 months to 4 months
|
|
Starting Date: September 2009 or later during the academic year
|
|
