Grant Activity: Lecture in the field of specialization. For a lecturing/research award, the ratio of these activities should be 50/50.
Specialization(s): The Embassy will consider any applications in the humanities, social sciences, arts, business, economics, education, engineering, environmental sciences and the applied sciences. There is a special preference for any of the fields of American studies, international relations, political science, law and economics.
Additional Qualifications: Ph.D.s of any academic rank. Non-academics with recent Ph.D.s with a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience are also welcome. Consideration may be given to those with M.A.s with more extensive teaching experience.
Location: Embassy will arrange placement depending upon grantee's specialization.
Length of Grant: 4 months to 10 months
Starting Date: September 1, 2008 or February 6, 2009
