Grant Activity: Conduct research in area of interest, including, but not limited to, any of the preferred areas of contemporary study involving mutual interests of India and the U.S. listed below.
Specialization(s): All disciplines, with preferences for: agricultural sciences, environmental sciences, governance and democracy, law, public health, economics, management, communications, science and technology
Language: Basic knowledge of a local language in the location of research can be an advantage.
Additional Qualifications: Awards are open to practicing professionals. A letter of invitation or support from a prospective host institution is recommended.
Location: Applicants may arrange affiliation and include letter of invitation or request placement by the United States Educational Foundation in India.
Length of Grant: 4 months to 9 months
Starting Date: July or August 2009 or later
