Deadline:  August 1, 2008
Grant Activity: Teach undergraduate courses, conduct research or undertake a combination of lecturing and research activities. Full-time lecturers will teach two courses per term, approximately 4-6 class hours weekly. Lecturer/researchers will have a modified teaching load. Contribute to the modernization and development of curriculum, academic procedures and processes, and the overall quality of education.
Specialization(s): Preferred disciplines include, but are not limited to, American literature, archaeology, economics, history, law, political science, psychology and sociology.
Language: Arabic is required for most research projects. Lecturing may be in English in certain disciplines. Obtain information from CIES on language requirements.
Additional Qualifications: Associate or full professor preferred. Professionals in all disciplines who have higher education teaching experience will be considered.
Location: Sana'a University
Length of Grant: 4 months to 9 months
Starting Date: October 2009 or January 2010
