Grant Activity: Teach courses and/or conduct research in any specialization. Specific courses to be determined in consultation between grantee and host institution. Lecturing applicants should describe proposed courses. Research projects must include a detailed plan of research or collaboration with local colleagues, including resources to be employed. Time and facilities for research may be limited.
Specialization(s): Preferred fields include, but are not limited to, American literature or history, business, economics, education, engineering, political science, geography and urban studies, Islamic studies, media studies, nursing, nutrition, peace studies, public health, applied statistics or information technology engineering.
Language: Most lecturing is in English. Arabic is required for research as appropriate and for some lecturing.
Location: Al-Quds University; Bethlehem University; Birzeit University or Al-Quds Open University, Al-Quds Open University
Length of Grant: 5 months to 10 months
Starting Date: September 2009 for 5- or 10- month awards or February 2010 for 5-month awards
