Grant Activity: Lecturing, research or combined lecturing/research activities that require follow-up visits. Give occasional lectures, if time permits. Submit possible courses for consideration. All research locations must be cited in the application.

Language: Arabic or French proficiency is necessary, if required for project.

Additional Qualifications: Professionals and non-academics will be considered.

Length of Grant: 3 months to 12 months
|

Starting Date: September 2009 or later within the academic year
|
|
Comments: Research and lecturing/research applicants must submit a detailed plan of research with a one- or two-page summary in Arabic or French. Grant activity is to be carried out over a 2- to 3-year period with up to two round-trip air tickets and one visit of 2-4 months during each academic year. Moroccan government clearance is required for all research projects and may take considerable time to obtain. The Fulbright Commission in Rabat will request this clearance on behalf of the applicant.
