Grant Activity: Conduct research in any area of interest. Researchers are encouraged to present occasional lectures at institutions throughout Jordan.
Language: Arabic proficiency is required if necessary for research project. Interpreters are not provided or available.
Additional Qualifications: Professionals will be considered.
Location: Affiliation to be determined, but applicant may indicate preference.
Length of Grant: 4 months to 10 months
Starting Date: September 2009
Comments: Host institutional affiliations to be determined by the Binational Fulbright Commission in Amman, but applicant may indicate preference or submit a letter of invitation. The commission will reconfirm all pre-established affiliations. Grantees are expected to arrive in Jordan in the first week of September 2009 for the in-country orientation program.
