Grant Activity: Teach courses in area of interest and collaborate in research with a Bar-Ilan partner. Applicants should describe proposed courses and submit a detailed plan of research.
Specialization(s): Open to any discipline, though priority will be given to scholars in science teaching, hermeneutics, philosophy of science and bioethics.
Additional Qualifications: Assistant professor or higher academic rank is required.
Location: Bar-Ilan University
Length of Grant: 4 months to 10 months
Starting Date: September/October 2009 or February 2010
Comments: A host institution is obliged to make a financial contribution toward the funding of its guest's USIEF grant. This financial aspect should be included in preliminary discussions with potential hosts prior to the issuance of a letter of invitation.
