Grant Activity: Conduct research and teach advanced undergraduate and graduate courses, approximately 6 hours weekly with 20 percent of time devoted to consulting with faculty colleagues and advising M.A. and Ph.D. students. Specific activities are to be arranged in consultation with the host institution.
Language: Sufficient proficiency in Arabic to conduct the proposed study. Lecturing is in English.
Location: Affiliation to be determined, but applicant may indicate preference.
Length of Grant: 4.5 months to 9 months
Starting Date: September 2009 or mid-January 2010 for one-semester awards; September 2009 for two-semester awards
