Grant Activity: Conduct research in any discipline. Grantees may be asked to give guest lectures at the host and other institutions.
Specialization(s): Law, political science, economics, history, science, arts
Language: English is sufficient for lecturing. However, basic Turkish is extremely useful. For Ottoman history and civilization studies, Ottoman Turkish is necessary.
Additional Qualifications: Applicants should be well-established scholars or professionals in their areas of specialization.
Location: Affiliation to be determined.
Length of Grant: 4.5 months or 9 months
Starting Date: October 2009 or March 2010 for one-semester grants; September 2009 for academic-year grants
