Grant Activity: Lecture at undergraduate and graduate levels, advise students, and assist with faculty and curriculum development. Research opportunities are limited.
Specialization(s): Scholars are needed in the following priority fields: journalism, American studies, public administration, law, business administration, economics, technical sciences, computer sciences, international relations.
Language: Conversational Azeri or Russian recommended but not required.
Additional Qualifications: Applicants should hold the appropriate terminal degree and have at least 3 years of teaching experience or the professional equivalent.
Location: Baku State University; The University of Languages; Azerbaijan State Economic University; The Academy of Public Administration Under the President of Azerbaijan; Azerbaijan State Technical University-Baku
Length of Grant: 4 months to 9 months
Starting Date: September 2009 or February 2010
Comments: The academic year runs September through June, consisting of two semesters. The first semester is September to January; the second semester is February to June. The Embassy will arrange a host institution affiliation for those applicants whose awards are not located at a specific institution.
