Grant Activity: Teach at least one undergraduate or graduate course and conduct research in area of specialization. The grantee may direct graduate student theses and advise the host department on curriculum and teaching methodology. Present seminars or lectures at other institutions.
Specialization(s): All disciplines are eligible except engineering; medicine, nursing and other health-related disciplines; and applied natural sciences and mathematics. Policy studies related to public health are eligible.
Additional Qualifications: Professionals with requisite 5 years of teaching experience at a university, college or community college may apply.
Location: Affiliation to be determined.
Length of Grant: 5 months
Starting Date: June 2009 or November 2009
Comments: While applicants may specify preferred host institutions, the Philippine-American Educational Foundation will make assignments based on the best and most appropriate match between the expertise of the grantees and the needs of prospective host universities. Affiliations with institutions outside Metro Manila are encouraged.
