Grant Activity: Be in residence at Yonsei University for at least one and preferably two academic semesters. Lecture in English. Teach two courses per semester to undergraduate and/or graduate students. Give public lectures and participate in joint research as arranged and in the overall intellectual life of the department.
Specialization(s): All disciplines are welcome, but scholars in the humanities and social sciences without previous experience of living in Korea are particularly preferred.
Language: English is the language of instruction. No Korean language proficiency is required.
Additional Qualifications: Full professor with tenure. Applicants must have a distinguished record of scholarship and publication. Applicants should submit CV to CIES Program Officer Mamiko Hada at mhada@cies.iie.org for consultation before making an application.
Location: Yonsei University
Length of Grant: 4 months to 10 months
Starting Date: September 2009 or March 2010
Comments: Individuals without previous experience of living in Korea are preferred.
