Deadline:  August 1, 2008
Grant Activity: Lecture, lecture and conduct research, or conduct research in area of specialization. Preference will be given to collaborative projects with Indonesian scholars. Conduct seminars and/or workshops as required. Consult on both program and faculty development.
Specialization(s): All disciplines and specializations will receive equal consideration, but for applicants in the sciences, priority will be given to projects that address issues of public concern (e.g. public health, environmental issues, etc.) in Indonesia.
Language: Bahasa Indonesia, if it is needed for research.
Location: Affiliation to be determined.
Length of Grant: 5 months or 10 months
Starting Date: September 2009 or February 2010 for one-semester grants, September 2009 for academic-year grants
Comments: Applicants who are not in the social sciences or humanities should be fluent in Bahasa Indonesia or ascertain whether lecturing in English will be feasible at a proposed host institution.
