Grant Activity: Advise on ongoing research in citrus phytosanitary problems, with special emphasis on citrus diseases such as canker and huanglongbing and factors affecting their incidence in the citrus fresh production chain. Deliver seminars to local researchers and a short course to citrus production specialists. Assist in cooperative research projects in related areas.

Language: Moderate to fluent Spanish is desired but not required.

Additional Qualifications: Ph.D. in plant science and experience with citrus diseases.

Comments: Though Spanish is preferred, most of the INIA staff can communicate in English and interpreters can be provided if needed.
