The Fulbright Ambassador Program identifies, trains and engages a select group of Fulbright scholar alumni to serve as representatives for the Fulbright program at campus workshops and academic conferences across the United States.

LogoRandy Visser is a lead faculty member at South Maine Community College in Portland, Maine.  He holds a B.S. in Communications from Grand Valley State University in Michigan and an M.S. Ed from the University of New England.

Randy is an accomplished media producer, video engineer and media educator. He has extensive experience in Broadcast Television environments and has taught video/film production at the post-secondary level for more then twenty years. Randy is recognized for his work in community-based media and non-commercial project development. In 1999 Randy participated in a seven month teaching exchange in Natal, Brazil with the Universidade Portugua. In 2004 he participated in a three week Fulbright German Studies Seminar on German Film/Television. He continues to work independently as a producer and community media activist.
