Global public health experts from around the world gathered at
the Pan American Health Organization in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday,
November 6, for the Fulbright New Century Scholars Program's Final
Plenary Seminar, which marks the conclusion of the program's inaugural
year.
Organized around the theme "Health in a Borderless World:
New Directions in Global Cooperation," the day-long meeting
highlighted the individual and collaborative work of the 30 Fulbright
New Century Scholars - top researchers and professionals
drawn from the United States and 18 other countries.
