Biography

 

Prof. Reshmi Mitra, a Professor of Economics at XLRI Jamshedpur, India is currently a Visiting Professor at Cracow University Of Economics, Poland. She has served as a consultant to governments in India and abroad on economic planning issues. She has worked as an Enterprise Development Adviser for DFID, Government of UK and as a consultant to several multilateral and bilateral agencies. She has published extensively in national and international journals and served on editorial boards of international journals like World Development; Consumption, Markets and Culture and Journal of Development Entrepreneurship. She has been a Fulbright senior scholar at the Harvard Business School and  Babson College, Massachusetts as well as guest lecturer at several universities in India and abroad.
