The following programs offer opportunities for U.S. institutions to host Fulbright Visiting Scholars and professionals from abroad to lecture at U.S. colleges and universities.

 

Occasional Lecturer Fund
The Council for International Exchange of Scholars (CIES) provides travel awards through the Occasional Lecturer Fund), which enable Fulbright Visiting Scholars who are currently in the U.S. to accept guest lecturing invitations at colleges and universities. Rolling Deadline

The Worldwide Fulbright Scholar-in-Residence Program brings visiting scholars and professionals from abroad to lecture at U.S. colleges and universities for one semester or one academic year. Junior Faculty Development Program for Afghanistan
The U. S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) has announced a competition to identify potential host institutions for the 2013 Junior Faculty Development Program for Afghanistan (JFDPA). The 10-week program will sponsor 20 junior faculty from Afghanistan to be placed at one selected U.S. institutions for intensive professional development. Deadline: September 14, 2012
