cohort Disciplines

The Fulbright Visiting Scholar Program for Iraq will offer a total of five cohorts with one for each of the following disciplines:

  • Science and Technology: Biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, computer science, information science, and GIS.

  • Engineering: Mechanical, computer, civil, chemical, electrical, industrial, materials, & systems engineering.

  • TEFL / Linguistics: Applied linguistics and teaching of English as a foreign or second language.

  • Environmental Sciences: Ecology, soil science, geology, atmospheric science, geosciences, marine biology, environmental chemistry, hydrology, water resources management, environmental policy

  • Agricultural Science: Agricultural engineering, animal science, plant pathology, horticulture, food science, entomology, crop science.
