Grant Activity: Teach one advanced graduate level course (30 hours) for a class of approximately 10 graduate students in area of specialization and advise graduate students. The organization of the course is flexible and depends on the particular topic. Research opportunities on topics concerning philology and generative theoretical and historical linguistics are available.
Specialization(s): Formal grammar, historical linguistics
Language: English, some Italian useful but not needed.
Additional Qualifications: University professors, full or associate preferred.
Location: Department of Linguistics, University of Trieste
Length of Grant: 3 months
Starting Date: March 2010
Comments: Computer facilities, Internet access and office space are available. Some secretarial services will be available. Assistance provided in finding housing. The average cost of housing is $500-$1,000 per month.
