Grant Activity: 
Specialization(s): Lecture at advanced undergraduate and graduate levels in any specialization of U.S. history or American studies. Many Russian universities have a particular interest in receiving a scholar who specializes in American cultural history. Grantee will serve as a resource for Russia's leading centers devoted to studying the United States. Although Moscow State University has hosted the Chair since its inception, the placement may change in response to the academic interests of the scholar who is selected.
Additional Qualifications: Rank of associate or full professor is required.
Length of Grant: 5 months
Starting Date: late January/early February 2010
