Grant Activity: Teach an advanced undergraduate course on U.S. government, politics, and political institutions and one or more advanced courses or faculty seminars in area of specialization per semester. Additional duties will vary based on host institution but may include assisting in the development of the political science curriculum, overseeing student research and thesis work, and participating in departmental research projects.

Additional Qualifications: Senior scholar with an outstanding record of teaching and writing on U.S. political institutions. Background in comparative political or parliamentary systems desirable.

Starting Date: September 2009 or February 2010 for one-semester grants; September 2009 for academic-year grants (preferred)

Comments: The Fulbright Commission in Hungary will place the Chair at one of the following universities: Corvinus University (formerly Budapest University of Economics and Public Administration); Eotvos Lorand University, Budapest; University of Pecs; University of Szeged; University of Debrecen; University of Veszprem or Pazmany Peter Catholic University, Piliscsaba.
