Grant Activity: Teach two graduate level (LL.M. program) courses of 36 hours each to approximately 30 students. The courses will be advanced. Students purchase the necessary books. The grantee may be requested to present occasional lectures to other audiences within the School of Law and/or participate in the curriculum development of the graduate programs.

Language: Lecturing is in English.
Additional Qualifications: Distinguished lecturer with at least 10 years teaching experience. Professionals will not be considered.
Location: School of Law, Lisbon, Portuguese Catholic University
Length of Grant: 3 months
Starting Date: September 14, 2009; January 7, 2010; or April 15, 2010
Comments: The Fulbright Commission in Portugal will assign two grants to take place over the course of the academic year. Only one grant will be given for each start date listed above. At the university, computers are available (two rooms with 20 computers each) with full access to the Internet. Individual office space and secretarial assistance are also available. Housing is provided by the host institution. The contact person, Ms. Rita Bacelar (rbacelar@fd.lisboa.ucp.py) will give assistance in finding housing. The Fulbright Commission in Portugal will also give assistance in finding housing if needed.
