Grant Activity: Teach three class sessions per week consisting of 90 minutes each (two Austrian academic hours). Format, content and level of the individual courses are negotiated with the host institution.

Language: Lecturing is in English. German is desirable but not a prerequisite.
Location: Faculty of Humanities or Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Klagenfurt
Length of Grant: 4 months
Starting Date: October 1, 2009 or March 1, 2010
Comments: Grantee should be a scholar-teacher with interests in fields centrally associated with gender studies. The Faculty of Humanities is interested in scholars involved in theoretical and methodological issues and interdisciplinary approaches who could work with more than one of the faculty's 12 departments in the fields of education, communications/media and cultural studies, English and American studies, German studies, history, literature, psychology and philosophy. The Faculty of Technical Sciences is interested in scholars working in the fields of informatics, information-management and/or information technology.
