Grant Activity: Teach two or three courses or seminars per semester at the undergraduate and graduate levels in American studies or literature. Direct research, assist with curriculum development and offer short-term courses for Polish faculty, as requested.
Specialization(s): American media and society; American film, media and culture; popular culture; history of advertising, television or print media; 19th- and 20th-century literature including women's, ethnic, modern and postmodern; literary theory and criticism, rhetoric and aesthetics; gender and queer studies; U.S. government, Congress, intellectual history, economics (business culture), internal and foreign policy, philosophy
Language: English. Translation assistance available.
Additional Qualifications: Associate or full professor and experience directing Ph.D. students.
Location: Affiliation to be determined.
Length of Grant: 5 months to 9 months
Starting Date: Mid-September 2009 for academic-year grants (preferred); mid-September 2009 or February 2010 for one-semester grants.
